Baby’s Environment Matters

The genes you pass on to your baby are just one factor in who they will become. Their environment is in constant communication with their genetic code, telling their DNA how to express itself during the rapid process of development. Baby’s very first environment is your body, so pregnancy is an incredible window of influence where you have control over the positive and negative experiences that are built into the architecture of their developing brain and body.

Truly Customized by Trimester

Baby’s brain starts developing as early as Week 3 using your body’s nutrient stores and daily intake as the building blocks for optimal growth. Supplementing with a comprehensive prenatal regimen helps to ensure that you and baby are fully supported as you grow together.*

  • Vitamin D3
  • Choline
  • Calcium
  • Folate
  • Iron
  • Magnesium

Vitamin D supports bone growth and healthy immune function. Supplementing with vitamin D during pregnancy promotes healthy development. It’s also been shown to enhance mental and psychomotor performance in infants*

Choline aids in the production of key components of cell membranes and neurotransmitters involved in muscle control, memory, cognition, and cardiovascular regulation. Choline is also important for optimal baby brain development.

Calcium is a building block for baby’s bones, nerves, and muscles. Levels of total calcium and bone density decline throughout pregnancy, so calcium supplementation is an important source of support*! Calcium also works synergistically with Vitamin D to increase absorption.

Folic acid is a synthetic form of folate and 40% of American women have the MTHFR gene mutation which inhibits their body's ability to metabolize and absorb it. Our Prenatal uses the bioactive form of folate, 5-methyl-tetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) at 100% of the Daily Value recommended for pregnancy.

It’s estimated that 50% of women enter pregnancy iron deficient. Iron plays a critical role in transporting oxygen to baby’s brain via red blood cells during pregnancy, the brain being the highest oxygen-consuming organ in the body.

Magnesium is a key player in a variety of development processes including cell signaling, energy production, and synthesis of nucleic acids and proteins. Overall, U.S. women have average magnesium intake that is 22% less than the RDA.

Regulations For Prenatal Supplements

There is no standard and no regulation for prenatal supplements

The FDA has never published a standard for prenatal nutrition, and does not regulate this category. We were shocked too!

Shazi’s Story
“Five years ago, I was ready to get pregnant again. After my first child was diagnosed with autism, I wanted to do everything I could to ensure the neurological health of my second. I turned to Dr. Adams to tailor a program for me that would create the optimal environment for my baby during pregnancy. I was taking nearly 40 pills every day, when my beautiful, healthy daughter Asha arrived. Every mom should have access to this knowledge and it should be easy, so I’m proud to collaborate with the Neurological Health Foundation to distill Dr. Adam’s’s work into one comprehensive and easy prenatal system.”
